Terms & Conditions

Please review these terms regarding the use of our website and requests for automotive, residential, and commercial locksmith services.

Last Updated: October 25, 2026
Important Information

These Terms & Conditions explain our website policies and general service procedures. A specific locksmith job is governed by the applicable agreed estimate, authorization, work order, invoice, and mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer protections or legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

01. About Our Company

ASAP H LOCKSMITH (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website call.asaphlocksmith.com.

Our business provides or coordinates requests for automotive, residential, and commercial locksmith services in areas where such services may lawfully be provided.

The availability of any service depends on location, applicable licensing requirements, personnel, equipment, and job conditions.

02. Website Use

Our website is provided for general information, inquiries, and service requests. Visitors agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with website security, or submit knowingly false or fraudulent requests.

Website descriptions do not guarantee that a particular vehicle, key, lock, security system, or property can be serviced.

We may correct website errors and update service information. However, an already accepted service agreement will not be changed solely through a website update.

03. Service Requests & Appointments

Submitting a website form, calling our telephone number, or requesting an estimate does not, by itself, guarantee an appointment or create an obligation to perform services.

A service appointment is subject to confirmation, availability, service location, lawful authorization, and the terms agreed for the particular job.

Information provided by customers should be accurate and complete. Material changes to the requested service should be communicated before work begins whenever possible.

We reserve the right to decline a request where the work cannot lawfully or safely be performed, the customer’s authorization cannot be reasonably verified, or other legitimate circumstances prevent service.

04. Identity Verification & Authorization

Customers requesting entry, key duplication, key programming, lock replacement, or other access-related services must have lawful authority to request the work.

We may require identification, ownership documents, registration, lease information, written authorization, or other reasonable evidence of the customer’s right to access or control the relevant property or vehicle.

Such verification will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Customers are responsible for providing truthful authorization information. We may postpone or decline service when authorization is uncertain or when a dispute over access or ownership exists.

Providing false authorization information does not relieve any party of obligations or liability imposed by applicable law.

05. Pricing, Quotes & Estimates

Service pricing may depend on the work requested, vehicle or lock type, equipment required, parts, location, time of service, and job complexity.

Telephone or online estimates may be preliminary when complete job conditions cannot reasonably be determined remotely.

Before chargeable work begins, customers will be informed of applicable charges and provided the opportunity to approve the work and price, as required by law.

Charges may include labor, parts, applicable taxes, and any disclosed service-call, travel, emergency, or diagnostic fees.

If unexpected conditions require additional work or a material price change, we will explain the change and obtain any required additional authorization before proceeding.

Customers will not be charged for unauthorized additional services. Any charges remain subject to applicable law and the specific agreement for the job.

06. Cancellations & No-Shows

Customers should notify us as soon as reasonably possible if an appointment must be canceled or rescheduled.

A cancellation, dispatch, diagnostic, or service-call fee will apply only when properly disclosed, agreed to where required, and permitted by applicable law.

Any cancellation fee must be consistent with the customer’s specific agreement and applicable consumer protections.

Special-order parts, custom-cut keys, or other specifically authorized expenses may be subject to separate cancellation conditions disclosed before the relevant order or expense is incurred.

07. Locksmith Service Conditions

Locksmith work can involve technical limitations arising from the condition, design, age, or modification of existing locks, doors, ignition systems, keys, electronic modules, and security equipment.

Before proceeding with work that may reasonably require drilling, cutting, removal, disassembly, or replacement of components, we will explain material foreseeable risks and seek appropriate authorization when reasonably practicable and required by law.

Non-destructive entry or repair cannot be guaranteed for every situation. The need for a different method will be evaluated based on actual job conditions.

We are responsible for meeting applicable professional standards and legal duties. Nothing in these Terms excuses negligent or unlawful workmanship.

08. Automotive Keys & Programming

Automotive locksmith work may include key cutting, transponder programming, remote programming, proximity key services, ignition work, and related diagnostics.

Compatibility depends on the vehicle’s configuration, electronic systems, software, existing components, and the condition of the keys or modules.

Some vehicles may require additional diagnostics, manufacturer-specific procedures, additional parts, or referral to another qualified provider.

We will explain material known limitations before requesting authorization for additional chargeable work.

Where aftermarket keys or replacement parts are offered, their nature and relevant limitations should be disclosed. Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, are governed by their own terms.

Pre-existing electrical faults, damaged control modules, weak batteries, or prior modifications may affect the outcome. Responsibility for any resulting damage will be determined under applicable law, including whether the damage resulted from the services performed.

09. Existing Damage & Property Conditions

Customers should disclose known defects or unusual conditions that may affect the requested service.

Examples include previously damaged locks, broken keys, defective ignitions, damaged doors, faulty security equipment, and existing vehicle electrical problems.

When feasible, material pre-existing damage may be documented before work begins.

Responsibility for damage will depend on the relevant facts, the work performed, the customer’s authorization, and applicable legal standards.

These Terms do not exclude liability where responsibility cannot lawfully be disclaimed.

10. Payments & Invoices

Payment obligations are determined by the specific accepted service agreement, approved charges, and applicable law.

Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements will be communicated before the relevant transaction.

Customers will receive a written work order, invoice, contract, or equivalent documentation as required by applicable law.

Customers should review the charges and promptly report any suspected billing error.

We may pursue lawful collection of valid, unpaid amounts. We will not impose fees or penalties that were not properly disclosed and authorized or are otherwise prohibited by law.

11. Parts, Workmanship & Warranties

Any specific workmanship or parts warranty offered for a job will be identified in the applicable invoice, written warranty, or service agreement.

Warranty terms may depend on the product, manufacturer, nature of the repair, and services purchased.

We do not make an additional contractual warranty merely by displaying general service information on this website.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes warranties or remedies that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law.

Customers experiencing a service issue are encouraged to contact us with the invoice information and a description of the concern so we can review it.

12. Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including independently existing defects or acts of unrelated third parties.

The Company does not guarantee that website access will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

Any limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent legally permitted and must be considered in light of the facts of the particular transaction.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any other liability that applicable law prohibits excluding.

Nothing in these Terms waives rights or remedies provided under applicable consumer protection laws.

13. Service Delays & Availability

Estimated arrival times and completion times may change due to traffic, weather, personnel availability, job conditions, equipment limitations, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

An estimated arrival time is not a guaranteed arrival deadline unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays affecting a confirmed appointment.

Nothing in this section removes any rights or remedies arising from an applicable service agreement or law.

14. Privacy & Customer Information

Information submitted through our website or during a service request is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

Access-related customer information and service details will be treated in accordance with applicable confidentiality obligations.

For more information, please review our Privacy Policy .

15. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

If you have a question or complaint concerning an estimate, charge, completed service, or another issue, please contact us so we have an opportunity to review the matter.

We may request relevant information, such as the service date, invoice, photographs, and a description of the concern.

The parties may attempt to resolve disputes through direct communication or mutually agreed voluntary mediation.

This section does not require customers to waive access to courts, law enforcement, regulatory agencies, or other remedies available under applicable law.

16. Governing Law & Consumer Rights

Subject to applicable mandatory legal protections and conflict-of-law rules, matters arising from this website and services performed in New Jersey are governed by applicable New Jersey law.

Any separate service contract applies only to the services actually purchased under that particular agreement.

No provision in these Terms is intended to remove an established consumer right or excuse an obligation imposed by New Jersey or federal law.

If a particular provision is found unenforceable, its treatment and any effect on remaining provisions will be determined under applicable law.

17. Changes to Terms & Contact

We may revise these website Terms to reflect changes in our website, general business policies, or applicable legal requirements.

The updated date will be displayed when material revisions are published.

Updates to this website do not retroactively modify an existing accepted service agreement without an appropriate legal basis or required agreement.
